Over roughly 4 days this Ford Ranger got the full kit and caboodle here at M4C. Quality workmanship was put to good use from beginning to end, achieving the best results for our customers new member of their fleet.
This build features a Tuff Australia chassis mounted, colour coded canopy fitted with a 12V system and a shelving system on the LH side of the canopy and a Dometic 46L fridge and 10L Poly Underbody Water Tank on the RH side. These features make this vehicle super useable in a variety of different circumstances which is perfect for our customer since it is being used as a Mine Spec Vehicle. To touch on the vehicles battery system a little more, we installed a Revolution Power Solutions Low Draw Slim Lithium Battery along side a Redarc BCDC In Cabin Battery Charger and 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter. We also included one of Victron Energy’s Battery Monitors and a Smart Battery Protect creating the perfect set up for our customer.
Another great feature making an appearance amongst this build is the use of lighting. We installed interchangeable amber and white strip lights on the underside of the canopy doors so our customer can have some light on the subject when needed. On the outside of the vehicle’s canopy, by the front driver and passenger corners we installed 2 ATOM 25 (25 watt) work lights by Ultra Vision Lighting. These work lights are considered high performance and have proven themselves in some of the harshest environments. The high light output and its IP69 waterproof rating makes this light extremely versatile, perfect for a mine spec build which will have a rough life eventually.
