To start with we wanted to understand what this vehicle needed to do. Ultimately it was a vehicle to fuel the customers passion for adventure. It needed to be practical and built tough to be able to handle whatever the customer throws at it, regardless of the scenario.
To begin the build, our customer opted with a Offroad Animal Predator Bar to protect the front end of the vehicle whilst also giving it that super aggressive look. This bar is also substantially smaller than a bar with hoops meaning it weighs less, and its always good to save some weight where you can! Another positive to selecting a bar that’s hoop-less is that it provides increased airflow which is good for your motor. This bar is winch-compatible.
With the bar on the front giving the vehicle an aggressive look, the customer didn’t want to take away from that. We installed a Viper 20″ Single Row Lightbar by Lightforce to the vehicle to assist in providing extra light for those long night drives on country roads.
Next up it was time to tackle the roof set up. We installed a Rhino Rack Backbone Platform Rack which would house a Bush Company 180XT Max Awning to provide protection from the harsh Aussie sun. What a great combo choice!
Lastly, and arguably one of the most important components of a 4WD, the suspension set up. Our customer went with none other than Tough Dog. With over 35 years in business, and a combined experience of over 100 years, Every Tough Dog product is researched and developed in Australia in their Sydney based headquarters. How good is a quality Australian company!? The chosen suspension set up will keep our customers ride comfortable and provide top notch reliability on those long trips away.
