M4C Dual Cab Hilux

Build Info

The M4C Hilux is an Ultimate Touring Build completed by our knowledgable team to withstand an off grid adventure.

Toyota Hilux Build Brief

The M4C Hilux came to be in May 2023, and since then we have been heads down building this top notch touring rig to showcase the epic gear available here at M4C which can better your adevntures more than you can imagine. This Hilux was built for all the fun getaways we head on and we plan to put it to good use over its lifetime!

Toyota Hilux Exterior

The exterior of this build features a Full Automotive Grade Aluminium Construction Rhinoman Xpedition Canopy, which holds The Bush Company AX27 Roof Top Tent and 270XT Max Awning alog with accessories such as the shovel mount bracket and GMF Antenna Bracket for the Uniden Antenna Whip and UHF. We fitted Raceline Gauge Satin Black Rims paired with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss Tyres all round to bring a comfortable and stable ride to the vehicle, on and off road!

Heading to the front of the vehicle, you will notice a Onca 4×4 Bullbar made from laser cut, CNC bent, heavy-duty mild steel component and finished off in satin black, along with a Saber Offroad HDX Winch, Lazer Lamps Sentinel Driving Lights and Safari 4×4 Snorkel.

Toyota Hilux Canopy Interior

The interior of the canopy features the M4C Spray In Tub Liner and an epic power system made up of two Revolution Power Solutions 100ah Slimline Battery, a Victron Power Multiplus Compact 2000 Inverter/Charger, Low Voltage Disconnect, SmartShunt with Bluetooth, an Intervolt 50a Battery Charger and 2 KT Cables Solar Panels mounted to the top of the Roof Top Tent!

Aside from the Power System, we also fitted an RV Storage Solutions Rear Drawer Set up to the Canopy of the Hilux, this aids in maximising useable space whilst keeping everything super tidy and organised for those long trips away. A CelFi Go Mobile Phone Booster is also included amongst this set up.

Toyota Hilux Suspension

Every reliable 4wd requires a top quality suspension set up to keep you confortable, and some poeple may argue that suspension is the most important part of a 4wd. By now you are probably thinking, “Wow, with all that gear, surely theyre getting close to the GVM?”. This is when we announce we fitted a Tough Dog Suspension GVM Upgrade, which brings the payload from 2950kg up to 3510kg, an increase of 560kg! Not only does this increase the payload, Tough Dog are masters of top notch suspension components and these two factors bring the Hilux an awesome suspension set up! We also added to the set up some Tough Dog Upper Control Arms which aid in returning the vehicles suspension and steering back to the OEM after it has been lifted.

Overall this is a timeless build for on and off road cross country runs.
