Recently at M4C.au we have had multiple Streamline Connect vehicles filtering through our workshop. We have been installing each of these vehicles with mine spec gear to slip them into their new life as site workers! These 2 builds (along with the other vehicles we built exactly the same for the customer) feature nothing but the most durable gear for the tough jobs they are about to be used for. Good project management was used from beginning to end, achieving the best results for our customers new fleet vehicles.
The Hilux’s Bar Work and Battery Isolation
These two builds were installed with Jungle 4×4 Deluxe Hoop Bull bar’s to keep them protected from the harsh conditions of a mine site. The bull bars installed also house the Battery Isolator Switch we installed. Alongside the bull bars, we also installed 2 x TAG Heavy Duty Towbars with Tow Ball to each of these vehicles.
Safety and Communication
On mine sites, one of the main forms of communication is UHF Radio. These builds were installed with GME UHF and Antenna whips, providing top notch communication all over site.
Alongside constant communication, safety also plays a huge role in the life of site workers. These vehicles have been equipped with multiple safety devices including a Redarc Hand Brake Alarm, Redarc Daytime Driving Light feature, QVEE Mine Bar Set up, featuring a beacon light and safety whip, and a few other bits including the Fire Extinguisher and Wheel Chocks. It is our customers job to keep their employees safe – installing this gear to the vehicles will aid in ensuring each worker on site will be following safety precautions.
