Variety WA turns 40 this year and to celebrate its Ruby anniversary and the great work it does with children in need, we’re getting involved. But we need your help.
Later this month (22-25 October) Midland 4WD Centre will be taking part in Variety WA’s 40th ‘Ruby’ Anniversary to help raise money for WA kids in need. And for the first time ever, Variety WA invited along everything from Variety Bash cars, 4x4s, and Creative cars (meaning classic or muscle cars).
Across the four-day event, the Variety Bash and 4x4s will tackle off-road tracks, the Creative cars will cruise along the highway as the route takes in WA’s Wheatbelt and South-West (stopping off at remote schools along the way). This is the third time the team at Midland 4WD has taken part, usually in the Variety 4WD Adventure trip with our rig, car #222, and we need your help.
The aim of this event, apart from having a ripping time, is to raise money for Variety WA and we need your help. Each participant needs to raise a minimum of $1000 and by donating to our fundraising page (click HERE to donate), your contribution will go directly towards helping WA kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability, when they have nowhere else to turn.
“We’ve been involved with events run by Variety WA for the last three years,” said Simon Ash, director at Midland 4WD Centre. “And this year everyone’s going on the same rally, from fourbys to classic cars and the usual Variety Bash cars.”
“The cause is a great one and we’re so proud to be involved but we really do need help in raising as much money as we can, so we’re hoping our customers will get behind this wonderful charity by sponsoring us.”
