It uses the factory connection point on the back of the headlight assembly of your DMax or MUX (pre June 2021). You no longer need to put a hole in the dust cover or splice a wire into the factory harness for auxiliary driving lights.
Simply:
Remove the existing factory 6 pin connector from the back of the headlight (left or right side) there is a locking tab that must be depressed while removing the connector.
Fit the corresponding new connector to the factory connector that has just been removed.
Fit the remaining new connector to the original factory connector affixed to the headlight assembly.
Then connect the corresponding connectors from anyone of our listed compatible wiring harnesses.
WIRING
Red wire is from the vehicles positive high beam circuit and is used to trigger the positive signal on an auxiliary relay for driving lights.
Green wire is from the vehicles negative circuit and is used to trigger the negative signal on an auxiliary relay for driving lights.
Both red & green wires must be connected.
Blue wire is from the vehicles positive low beam headlight, for uses with positioning lights (fitment optional) or can be used as the pickup point for the switch illumination.
